Crooked Fence and Open Fermentation

Boise Brew Minute (episode 51) – Adam at Crooked Fence talks about open fermentation and how it differs from standard brewing. With wild yeast able to fall into the beer, flavors arise usually associated with farmhouse ales or saisons. We discuss how Crooked Fence has used open fermentation for some of their ales.
