I was interviewed last week for my friend’s podcast, Beer on the Run. Usually Jack and Clint talk with ultra runners about their races and what beer they like. According the UltraSignUps, I’ve only done two ultramarathons which is a lot less than most people they interview, but that doesn’t count my 50k DNF or any of the Birthday Bashes. Either way, we talked a bit about running and spent more time talking about the Seventy48 that I did solo last year and this year with my dad (review of this year coming soon).
We also discuss some life lessons from The Comfort Crisis, what it’s like running with a kid in a jogger, my favorite and most unique homebrews, finding weird challenges that aren’t races, and other random topics that came up. It drew together many different aspects of my life into one (mostly) coherent hour-long chat. I hope you enjoy the conversation.
